The DEMOS guys, Aleksi Neuvonen and Roope Mokka, have done a great job with their competition entry to the Greater Helsinki Vision 2050 competition.
It has all the elements that we all talk about these days - sustainability, energy, participation - but they've put the pieces together and point to a direction forward, the next step.
Comparing the Encyclopedia Britannica - still the authority a couple of years ago, based on refereed academic knowledge - with Wikipedia, an open source compilation of information, put together by the civil society, so to say, was particularly enlightening. That will give impetus to many new expressions, such as "Wiki-democracy" and "Wiki-City".
